Mason Jar Breakfasts
Mmmm breakfast. What can I say? I love my eggs and bacon and fruit... it's seriously, like, my fav! But it's not always practical, and if I'm not careful, then I end up relying on that quick trip through the coffee shop drive thru to start the day - good for a treat.... not good as a regular occurrence (and if you do, skip the processed cheese... ;o)
These jars are amazing though. In under 10 minutes, you can prep breakfast for the whole week. The next morning, 1 minute in the microwave and you have the BEST healthy breakfast 1 minute can give you!!
Give these a try! You'll love them!
Ingredients
- rolled oats - 1/4 cp
- plain Greek yoghurt - 1/4 cp
- unsweetened vanilla almond milk - 1/3 cp
- chia seeds - 1.5 tsp
- organic honey - 1.5 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- Granny Smith apples - 1/4 cp diced (or one small apple)
Instructions
- Layer all ingredients in a small Mason jar and chill overnight
- In the morning, heat for 1 minute in the microwave and serve
Will last 5 days before apples start to turn brown.

- Pineapple Cranberry
- 1/4 cp oats
- 1/4 cp plain Greek yoghurt
- 1/3 cp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1.5 tsp chia seeds
- 1/4 cp pineapple
- 2 tbp dried cranberries
- Blueberry (or mixed berry) Maple
- 1/4 cp oats
- 1/4 cp plain Greek yoghurt
- 1/3 cp unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1.5 tsp chia seeds
- 3 tsp real maple syrup
- 1/4 cp blueberry (or mixed berries)
