Instructions
Make your sauce:
- Heat a pan and add olive oil to heat. Add butter to hot oil!!! Keep a splatter screen close just in case!!!
- When butter is half melted, quickly add the milk and chicken stock and heat to a boil.
- Add mascarpone cheese and stir until completed melted
- Add parmesan cheese until completely melted; add salt and pepper to taste
- Fold the parsley into the sauce and allow to sit while you prep the pizza (it will thicken as it sits)
Make your pizza:
- Make your pizza dough
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- Heat 1 tbs olive oil in a cast iron skillet and place your steak pieces into the oil; cook one side at a time, undisturbed for approx 1-2 minutes (depending on thickness), and set aside
- In the same skillet, add garlic an onions and allow to saute until onions become partially translucent; add mushrooms and peppers and cook until softened
- Stir in the steak strips, oregano and basil
- Drizzle a small amount of olive oil over the pizza shell and spread evenly
- Spread a thin layer of sauce over the crust (you do not need a lot)
- Thinly slice the mozza cheese and place it evenly over the pizza (it doesn't need to cover the whole pizza - just enough so that you have a bit of cheese in each bite); add provolone
- Spreak steak mixture over the pizza shell
- You can add a very small amount moe of the sauce on top of steak if you like, and top with fresh tomatie
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle a small amount of sea salt and pepper
- Bake at 375 until all the cheese has melted and has started to brown (approx 10-15 minutes)
