Roasted Asparagus
I needed a way to get this little veggie into our diet… and THIS was the winner!
Ingredients
- asparagus - approx 2 cp, cleaned and base tips removed (they will shrivel during baking)
- sea salt & cracked black pepper
- garlic powder - sprinkled
- olive oil - small amount, drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Rinse the asparagus, and grabbing hold of both ends, gentle bend to crack off the bottom end of the stalk – it will crack in the right place naturally
- Toss in a bowl with remainder of ingredients
- Line a baking pan with foil and lightly coat with olive oil cooking spray; evenly place asparagus onto the pan
- Bake approx 15-20 minutes until slightly crispy
