Honey Garlic Chicken
The garlic in this recipe goes far! You do not need a lot of sauce to pack a great punch! Stirfrys are a great way to have a balanced meal… complete with your protein, veggies and more. I like to pre-make large batches and freeze them for quick and easy meals (one personal-sized Ziplok container will feed two people). And doing them in a slow cooker makes the process even more easy! You can have them just as they are, or you can be creative and add in other ingredients at the time of cooking, such as shrimp, fresh or frozen veggies, and steamed noodles. Some of the pictures will be shown with these additions.
Ingredients
- boneless, skinless chicken thighs - x 8
- HP chinese extra strong garlic sauce - 1 jar
- organic honey - 1 cp
- onion - 1, diced
- cornstarch thickening - 3 tbs water + 3 tbs cornstarch

- Add chicken to the bottom of a slow cooker; sprinkle onion on top
- Blend in a bowl the honey and garlic sauce until blended evenly; pour over the chicken
- Cook on high for 2.5 hours; remove chicken from pot, dice and set aside
- Add the cornstarch thickening to the sauce and blend evenly; add chicken back and cook on low for 30 minutes
