Smokey Pulled Pork Sandwiches
Inspired by dinner with Jodi H. and her family, and one crazy awesome dinner party, this had to be born! She had made some changes from the original recipe, and I've made a few more. Let's see how you like it :o)
I did mine with jumbo dinner buns >
And a sweet slaw >
And the final result was delish!!
Ingredients
- Pork tenderloin roast
- onion - 1 large, slivered
- low sodium katchup - 1.5 cp
- BBQ Sauce - 1/2 cp (see instruction)
- dark brown sugar - 1/4 cp
- worchestershire sauce - 2 tbs
- smoked paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chipotle paste - 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- dijon mustard - 2 tbs
- salted butter - 2 tbs
- sea salt & cracked black pepper - a generous pinch of each
Instructions
- Sliver your onion and line the bottom of your slow cooker; place your tenderloin on top
- Mix in a separate bowl all remaining ingredients and pour over the roast
- Cook on low for 7 hours; shred and serve
Serve on warm toasted buns with Sweet Slaw, or whatever works for you!
