California Rolls
Ingredients
- Imitation crab meat - shredded
- Sticky rice - (you can use stove top sushi rice or rice cooker rice)
- Avacado - sliced into small pieces
- Cucumber - chopped into small pieces
- Olive oil mayo
- Nori Sheets
- Sesame seeds
- Maple Soy Sauce
- organic maple syrup - 1 tbs
- soy sauce - 1 tbs
Instructions
- Prepare all of the elements and roll!
- Place a nori sheet shiny side down on a bamboo mat
- Use moist fingers to spread and press a thin layer of sticky rice over the nori sheet; sprinkle with sesame seeds
- Flip the sheet over and add a very thin line of mayo across the first third
- Top with crab, cucumber and avacado
- Gently begin rolling over the filling until you have the roll complete
- Slice into bite-sized pieces and serve with Maple Soy Sauce for dipping
